Lecture Title: Legal Considerations Pertaining to Medical Records and the Prevention of Medical Disputes
Abstract:
Medical records serve as essential documentation of daily medical activities and are critical for teaching and research within healthcare institutions. In recent years, their application has expanded into various domains. Particularly in the context of escalating tensions between healthcare providers and patients, medical records have emerged as pivotal evidence in medical appraisals, mediations, and litigations, often becoming a focal point of disputes. Additionally, there has been an increasing body of legal regulations concerning medical records. Standardizing these records is now not only crucial for medical practice but also necessitates attention to relevant laws, regulations, and judicial precedents. During this lecture, the speakers will provide a comprehensive and in-depth analysis of these issues, supported by relevant case studies.
