Wu Wenzhi, has been engaged in medical information research, foreign language translation practice and translation research for a long time. Awarded as "Senior Translator" by Translators Association of China, member of the fourth, fifth, Sixth and seventh sessions of Translators Association of China, Executive Vice president of Translators Association of Jiangsu Province, chief editor of Jiangsu Foreign Language Teaching Research of Nanjing Normal University, Executive editor of Translation Forum, Journal of Translators Association of Jiangsu Province. He has published more than 100 papers and translations. He has published more than 80 translated works and compiled more than 130 volumes. In 1991, he won the first prize of the "Third Prize of Military Science and Technology Progress"; In 2003, won the second prize of the fifth National Dictionary; In 2009, he won the special Contribution Award of "Excellent Achievements of Foreign Language, Literature and Translation Research in Jiangsu Province since the founding of the People's Republic of China in 60 years". In 2004 and 2009, he won the second prize of National University Edition Excellent bestseller. In 2006, he published a series of translated books called YOU: The Manual for the Use of the Body, which became popular bestsellers. In 2009, he edited the Chinese-English Translation Dictionary, which was approved as a key project of the national 12th Five-Year Plan and published by Yilin Publishing House in 2016. In 2017, he was nominated by the Jiangsu Provincial Government for Broadcasting and Publishing.
