Lecture Title:  Improving Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety in the United States


Abstract:

Dr. SreyRam Kuy will discuss three projects that have successfully improved healthcare quality and patient safety in the United States. First, strategies to decrease patient mortality and reduce adverse medical events. Second, strategies to reduce unnecessary opioid prescriptions. Third, strategies to improve healthcare employee engagement and staff satisfaction.

There will be a discussion on the application of artificial intelligence in healthcare after the lecture.
