Focusing on the overall goal of building a world-class university, we actively carry out domestic and internatlonal cooperation and exchanges with an international vision and stance. We have been holding many academic conferences, including Beijing Forum Medical Sub-Forum, the 9th Meeting of International Society for the History of Medicine, Western Medicine in China, China-US Conference on Medical Professionalism, PKU Medicine International Conference on Global Primary Health Care, PKU International Conference on Health Humanities, PKU Qingming Forum and Symposium on the Development of' Narrative Medicine and the Release Conference of Expert Consensus on Narrative Medicine in China and so on. We have established close cooperative relationships with a number of intermationally renowned universities and research institutes, devoting ourselves to enhancing the level of Chinese health humanities research and education, and actively expanding the influence of Chinese healthhumanities spirit and tradition. In 2023, as the only representative institution of mainland China, we joined the Consortium for Health and Humanities (CHARM).
